PADI OWD

Come and experience the enchanting beauty of the underwater world by going through the PADI Open Water Diver course. Scuba diving will give you the opportunity to experience your leisure time in a healthy and unique way and make your holidays more memorable and adventurous.

The PADI OWD certificate allows you to dive independently (without the direct supervision of an instructor), together with a certified buddy, into diverse dive sites around the world, down to a depth of 18 m.

You will be able to plan your diving after the course, you can rent diving equipment and fill the compressed air cylinders.

The course consists of 5 knowledge development modules, in which the diving basics are explained and knowledge examinations are passed. This is followed by 5 modules of pool training, where various dive exercises are taught. The course ends with 4 open water modules (sea, lake or ocean), where students practice and demonstrate the exercises learned in the pool.

The course is conducted in cooperation with PADI 5Star IDC Diving Center Oxygene Tallinn (No. 5254), PADI Course Director, Kert Meidra (No CD-76662).

Prerequisites: Age at least 15 years (Junior Open Water Diver 10 years).

The OWD course can be divided into two parts. Knowledge development + pool training (fee € 220.00) and concluding open water practice ( fee € 130.00).
