The aim of the HUET program is to prepare delegates that intend to travel by helicopter by providing specific training in pre- flight and in-flight requirements and to equip delegates with the basic emergency response knowledge and skills required in the event of a helicopter emergency – with the specific focus on escaping from a helicopter following ditching. HUET training is a one-day safety course for those traveling by helicopter.
HUET Certificate validity: 4 years - 1 day
CA-EBS initial deployment training certificate validity: no expiry date
Course includes additional training in Norwegian Transit Suit & Emergency Breathing System according to North Sea Mutual Acceptance of Basic Safety and Emergency Preparedness Training Memorandum.
When travelling by helicopter to and from offshore installations in the UK and the Netherlands passengers will also need a CA-EBS certificate. The Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Initial Deployment training programme is designed for personnel travelling to or from offshore installations/vessels via helicopter where a Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System will be provided for use in the case of an emergency ditching.
Course fee excludes: OPITO registration fee (30 EUR + 12 EUR) and VAT.
Important: VAT 20% is always payable if training fee is paid by private person. In case training fee will be paid by EU company with VAT number, the VAT 0% will be applied (reverse charge).
Accommodation: if you require so, we shall arrange hotel for you. The hotel is high quality 3 star SPA hotel. Hotel fee is 45 EUR per night single room, breakfast included.
Transfers: to training centre and back to hotel is complimentary.
Courses fee include: 1 night complimentary hotel (single room), breakfast in hotel, lunch in the training centre, coffee/tea and course material.
