General: 

ERM (ENGINE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT) and Maritime Crew Resource Management training course in accordance to the STCW 2010 Code section A-III/1 ja A-III/6 - Application of Leadership and Teamworking skills on operation level) and STCW Code Section A-III/2 ja A-III/3 - Use of Leadership and Managerial skills on management level. 

Course is in compliance to IMO Model course 1.39 LEADERSHIP AND TEAMWORK.

Scope: 

The Maritime Crew Resource Management Course is a further development of the original SAS Bridge Resource Management Course. 

The course is to change attitudes - by a better co-ordination of the skills, the knowledge, experiences and resources available to the crew to accomplish or achieve the established goals of safety and efficiency. 

The participants will learn by means of lectures, discussion, computer based training with the following course subjects: 

Situation Awareness, Cultural Awareness, Communication and Briefings, Challenge and Response, Human Errors, Teamwork, Decision Making, Stress Management and Managements of Unexpected Events.

Objectives: 

To motivate the crew and to support a change of attitude and increased knowledge about human and technical resources in an operational maritime environment. 

This includes understanding of the importance of good management and teamwork and the willingness to change behaviour.

Oxford Aviation Academy MCRM (Maritime Crew resource Management) Certificate

Accommodation: if you require so, we shall arrange hotel for you. The hotel is high quality 3 star SPA hotel. Hotel fee is 45 EUR per night single room, breakfast included. Transfer to training centre and back to hotel is complimentary.
