The aim of the BOSIET with CA-EBS Digital Delivery: This assessment programme is designed to meet the initial offshore safety and emergency response training and assessment requirements for personnel new (or returning) to the offshore oil and gas industry who will be supplied with a compressed air emergency breathing system (CA-EBS) during offshore helicopter travel and who choose to complete the formal assessment of the BOSIET programme undertaken via the BOSIET (with CA-EBS) on-line programme. Delegates are elgible to attend training centre for formal assessment of all learning outcomes within 90 days of completing the online elements and who have ordered the online training service through Reval Marine & Offshore Training.
Formal assessment includes:
BOSIET Certificate validity: 4 years - 1 day
Delegate pre-requisites: Delegates must complete all online elements contained in the BOSIET (with CA-EBS) on line programme prior to attending an training centre to be formally assessed against all learning outcomes. Delegates must attend an approved training centre for formal assessment of all learning outcomes within 90 days of completing the online elements.
Health: The formal assessment may involve a degree of physical and mental stress. Therefore delegates will be required to complete a Medical Screening Form prior to the commencement of the formal assessment at the training centre. The delegate should be in possession of a valid Offshore Medical Certificate or ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate (if delegate health is in doubt) as well Fit To Train Certificate issued by OGUK approved doctor. If you do not hold the Medical Certificate or Fit to Train Certificate we suggests arriving day earlier and take the certification with OGUK approved doctor.
