Course/event Title: GLOBAL WIND ORGANIZATION BASIC SAFETY & REFRESHER TRAINING SEA SURVIVAL MODULE

Reference to standard: GLOBAL WIND ORGANIZATION ONSHORE/OFFSHORE BASIC SAFETY & REFRESHER TRAINING STANDARD

Upon completion of the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST) or Refresher (BSRT) Training Delegates will possess or refresh an awareness of the hazards encountered when working within the wind industry and how to control and mitigate these hazards. The training will also equip participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to appropriately respond in the event of an emergency and to increase their safety through proper use of Personal Protective Equipment, emergency equipment and procedures. Target group of this training module are the personnel working in the wind industry or related fields needing to obtain or refresh their GWO BST Sea Survival Module certificates. 

Prerequisites for participating in the Sea Survival module is a valid GWO Working at Height training certificate

Practical exercises conducted in the indoor pool with approved training equipment and options to apply various realistic environmental conditions, resulting comfortable training with the best results.

Certificate validity 24 months.
