The aim of the BOSIET is to introduce delegates to the specific safety issues and regimes relevant to offshore installations and to equip them with the basic emergency response knowledge and skills for traveling to and from offshore installations by helicopter.

CA-EBS initial deployment training certificate validity: no expiry date
The Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Initial Deployment training programme is designed for personnel travelling to or from offshore installations/vessels via helicopter where a Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System will be provided for use in the case of an emergency ditching.
Course include: additional training in Norwegian Transit Suit & Emergency Breathing System according to North Sea Mutual Acceptance of Basic Safety and Emergency Preparedness Training Memorandum.
Delegate pre-requisites: No prerequisites are required.
Health: The course may involve a degree of physical and mental stress. Therefore delegates will be required to complete a Medical Screening Form prior to the commencement of the course. The delegate should be in possession of a valid medical certificate if their health is in doubt.
Course fee exclude: OPITO registration fee (30 EUR + 12 EUR) and VAT.
Accommodation: if you require so, we shall arrange hotel for you. The hotel is high quality 3 star SPA hotel. Hotel fee is 45 EUR per night single room, breakfast included.
Transfers: to training centre and back to hotel is complimentary.
Courses fee include: 2 nights complimentary hotel (single room), breakfast in hotel, lunch in the training centre, coffee/tea and course material.
Important: There are physical and mental aspects of this training including training in a water, enclosed spaces, as well activities with fire.
