STCW 2010 HIGH SPEED CRAFT HANDLING

Course/event Title: HIGH SPEED CRAFT TYPE RATING TRAINING

Reference to standard: HSC Code Ch. 18 Reg. 18.3; STCW 1978 as amended. Code A-II/2; B-V/a § 3.2. IMO Model course 1.22.

This Course is practical and theoretical and consists of a series of exercises performed on a HIGH SPEED CRAFT ship handling simulator. 

Bridge teamwork related subjects are dealt with either as interactive Computer Based Training (CBT) or lecture. 

Course content in accordance to the Model course 1.22 and STCW 2010 A-II/2. Course consist of training for masters and chief mates as well watch engineers forming part of the HSC bridge team of ships with unusual manouvering characteristics (HSC Catamaran) in accordance to the STCW B-V/a § 3.2.

Course is approved by Estonian Transport Agency

The combined study course consists of online study at home or at Reval training center, simulator training and passing a written test at Reval training centre. In the morning of the day indicated in the schedule, we will send you e-mail instructions for logging in to the virtual learning environment.
