Purpose: To provide persons who need to transfer from vessel to vessel at sea awareness and guidance to safe working practices.Scope: Compliance with relevant national legislation and international conventions. This course is practical theoretical and consists of a series of exercises. Classroom lectures, to provide the necessary theoretical background for the exercises, are included. Particular items dealt within these lectures are illustrated by including them as part of an exercise. Each exercise will be preceded by a session for briefing and planning and be followed by a debriefing.
