NB! It is an approved combined training course consisting of digital delivery and practical training and assessment in the Reval safety training centre. Please select the practical training day (start day) that suits you and fill in the registration form. After registration, you shall receive by email course booking confirmation and instructions on how to login to the learning environment. Online learning must be successfully completed before arriving for practical training.
This course is intended to provide the knowledge, skill and understanding of ECDIS and electronic charts to the thorough extent needed to safely navigate vessels whose primary means of navigation is ECDIS.
The course emphasizes both the application and learning of ECDIS in a variety of underway contexts.
The course is designed to meet the STCW requirements in the use of ECDIS, as revised by the 2010 Manila Amendments. It should be understood that this is a generic course which requires a structured and complementary on-board ship specific ECDIS familiarization for each shipboard ECDIS system on which the navigating officer serves.
Those who successfully complete the course should be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge to undertake the duties assigned under the SSP.

The combined study course consists of online study at home or at Reval training center, simulator training and passing a written test at Reval training centre. In the morning of the day indicated in the schedule, we will send you e-mail instructions for logging in to the virtual learning environment. You may take you digital study at home, for simulator training and written test you have to arrive to Reval training centre.
Training shedule: First two days on-line training. Third to fifth day theory, simulator training and written test, beginning of the day at 09.00.
