Course/event Title: PASSENGER SAFETY, CARGO SAFETY AND HULL INTEGRITY TRAINING (DIGITAL DELIVERY)

Reference to standard: STCW 2010 Code Section A-V/2 § 5

Before being assigned to shipboard duties, masters, chief engineer officers, chief mates, second engineer officers and every person assigned immediate responsibility for embarking and disembarking passengers, for loading, discharging or securing cargo, or for closing hull openings on board ro-ro passenger ships shall receive the passenger safety, cargo safety and hull integrity training required by regulation V/2, paragraph 9, that ensures at least attainment of the abilities that are appropriate to their duties and responsibilities. This course is designed for those crew members without direct responsibilities to ensure safe carriage of Dangerous Goods, Securing of Cargo or Stability, Trim and Hull Stress Calculations. 

The combined study course consists of online study at home or at Reval training center and passing a written test at Reval training centre. In the morning of the day indicated in the schedule, we will send you e-mail instructions for logging in to the virtual learning environment.

Course is approved by Estonian Transport Agency and validity of the course certificate is 5 years.
