STCW 2010 SECURITY AWARENESS TRAINING FOR SEAFARERS (DIGITAL DELIVERY)

Course/event Title: SECURITY AWARENESS TRAINING FOR ALL SEAFARERS

Reference to standard: STCW 1978 as amended. Code A-VI/6 § 4; A-VI 6-1. IMO Model course 3.27.

This course is intended to provide the knowledge required to enable personnel without designated security duties in connection with a Ship Security Plan (SSP) to enhance ship security in accordance with the requirements of chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, the ISPS Code, and section A-VI/6-1 of the STCW Code, as amended. 

Those who successfully complete this course should achieve the required standard of competence enabling them to contribute to the enhancement of maritime security through heightened awareness and the ability to recognize security threats and to respond appropriately. Security Awareness Training for all Seafarers in accordance to the STCW 2010 A-VI/6 § 4, A-VI 6-1 and IMO model course 3.27

The combined study course consists of online study at home or at Reval training center and passing a written test at Reval training centre. In the morning of the day indicated in the schedule, we will send you e-mail instructions for logging in to the virtual learning environment. You may take you digital study at home or at Reval training centre, but for written test you have to arrive to Reval training centre.
