NB! It is an approved combined training course consisting of digital delivery in the Viking Safety Academy and Seagull learning environment and practical training and assessment in the Reval safety training centre. Please select the practical training day (start day) that suits you and fill in the registration form. After registration, you shall receive by email course booking confirmation and from Viking Safety Academy instructions on how to login to the learning environment. Online learning must be successfully completed before arriving for practical training.
The 6 days training session is specially designed for those who wish to work on board of passenger ships or super yachts in passenger service departments. The course covers all mandatory modules according to STCW 2010 convention:
Course consists of theoretical classroom lectures; computer based training and practical training in great portion. At the end of training course there will be multiple choice tests.
Practical sea survival and survival craft exercise are conducted in safe and controlled indoor pool environment including simulated heavy weather conditions. Course consist use of Marine Evacuation System (Escape Chute) training.
Practical fire training is conducted with state of art live fire simulators in controlled and safe environment.
